I'm thinking about an overnighter from Mt. Peeley to McFarland (and back) in a week.
Anything special that I need to know?
Will McFarland still have water?
(I'm assuming that going nobo, along the Mazatzal Divide, has no water?)
Mt. Peeley sobo to McFarland Canyon?

Mt. Peeley sobo to McFarland Canyon?
Be careful. It's not quite "a jungle out there." But history shows that it can be dangerous out there.

@joebartels
Thanks for the link. I clicked around on the map but never found a legend for that particular map.

Re: Mt. Peeley sobo to McFarland Canyon?
I just returned from a 3-day, 2-night abbreviated backpacking trip, Barnhardt TH, Y Bar, MDT, Bear Spring, Chilson Spring and return via Barnhardt Trail. I plan to post a trip report with photo set in a day or two. (After cleaning my gear and collecting my thoughts.) For now, lots of water at Bear Spring and Chilson Spring. Probably will not be water in a week at Windsor Spring. And probably no water in two weeks at the Y Bar Basin. (Am guessing its name. About two miles south of where Y Bar Trail meets the MDT.)
