Super bloom 2024? California wildflower blooms are shaping up to be spectacular.
Wildflower blooms are usually especially stunning after a wet winter in the frequently dry West. Because last year was also a rainy year, this year's bloom could be even more spectacular — what's colloquially often called a "superbloom."

Maybe there will be an impressive bloom around Tucson, since it was so wet this winter, after all? A bloom, and not just an explosion of canyon ragweed.

@Pivo The word superbloom has been co-opted by social media influencers, and no longer means what it once did. Every spring flower is now considered a superbloom. But who doesn't love spring flowers!?

Sorry guys. Doesn't look like a super bloom on the west end of the supes and surrounding area. Not much happening this year. Last year, at least for the poppy type flowers was a rare super bloom. Especially out the Bush hwy.

Pretty good last weekend at my usual spots, will branch out on Sunday hopefully. Spoke to a rancher and have permission for his land which usually has a ton of flowers. Unfortunately have to sit in front of the tax guys tomorrow.
