Blue Range Primitive in May

Looking to do 4-5 nights in Blue Range Primitive in mid-May. Anyone know how low night time temps get during that time? Want to pack as light as possible, but want to be warm enough as well. Thanks!

I am not aware of historic data for that area, but nearby towns can give an idea, depending on the elevation. Flagstaff, Showlow, Springerville, and Silver City might be useful for certain elevations. As a guess, at 6500 to 7000', lows in the mid to upper 30s, possible late frosts and freezes. Highs could be anywhere from 50 to 80.

So find a hike in the area, say:

Open historical weather
April averages 29 degree lows, 56 degree highs

Note that this is actually the forecast for the Alpine weather station, which will represent the higher elevations of Blue Range Primitive Area, so you should expect that down in the valley at the bottom of Blue Range, it might be about 15 degrees warmer than this due to the elevation change.

Then check the weather forecast when you get within a week of your hike to see if you need to adjust.

There's a wide elevation range in the Blue Range, but I camped at Bear Valley last Memorial Day weekend in what seemed like typical May weather, and temperatures were quite pleasant.
