I am looking for hiking friends!

I am new to the hiking scene. I would like to meet people who would like to hike Sedona, Payson, Prescott and Flagstaff areas. I am willing to drive. I am shy, but outgoing once I get to know you. I am married with a three-year-old daughter who loves the outdoors. She will join me on some of the hiking trips, so you gotta tolerate children. I would like to hear about group trips as well.

Don't hesitate to chat with Tom, "Hikeringilbert", Trish, "Trishness", or me Jim "JW63", anytime. All of us get into group hikes in all the places you mentioned, plus many, many more. Usually, we have people of all abilities, and we always have fun!

Most of us are/will be/were parents, so your daughter would be welcome, of course.

You're always invited to hook-up and schedule since a lot of people cancel, and some of us (like me), almost never have a weekend day off.

Keep in touch. We are always trying to get out and "Hike Arizona"!

Hey Angel,

Welcome to HAZ! Great people & great hikes on here. I get to Sedona 6 or 7 times a year for long weekends and am always up for a hike. Having only started hiking again this summer so I'm a beginner but always up to getting out and pushing myself to the limit. Most of my hikes this summer have been in the Supes and you are always welcome to join me out here now that the cooler weather is coming. No problem to bring your daughter.....I love kids and it's great that you're starting her early to enjoy nature and the outdoors.

Hi, if interested we hike every tuesday and thursday of the week on Piestawa (Squaw) Peak. If you are interested you are welcome to join us. We meet by 6:00 p.m.
Its been almost a year since I last logged in (amazing how time flies). I must admit the Last time I did I got into a lot of trouble with the Webmaster for sharing to much about my self. I have a profile, but I need to update it a little. Please excuse the picture as it was taken on the third day of our Havasupai Trail hike. The group I hike with has been very active this year. We did a South Rim down and up in May, Fossil Springs in July and Havasupai.
