Re: Flextail Pump
Yep. I have the older model that had a light on it, too, and have the newer zero model. The old one worked great but was loud. New one works just a well and is smaller (although no light) but is much much quieter.

I can't look at this without thinking of the Flextrex Whipsnake 37,000,000,000,000 Edition.

Ha, I didn't know there was a newer version. So then I have the old one, with the light.xsproutx wrote:have the older model that had a light on it, too, and have the newer zero model.

Re: Flextail Pump
@Grimey
Yeh, they came out with the newer model 9ish months or so ago. It's just a pump, no light, but it's a better form factor/lighter weight and since most backpackers already have a headlamp or such, it's a nice trade. It is MUCH quieter though and that part is pretty nice.

Usually I forgo inflating or using a pad. Take two aleve and I am comfy. Downside it makes me snore and I have been told I sound like a chainsaw for petrified wood.
