looking for someboby to have fun with

Post by Explorer »

Hi,
we are a young couple(wife-26yrs, husband-28yrs), moved to Phoenix from San Diego 8 months ago. We both love hiking and camping(out-door sports), and we would like to find somebody to go have fun with : rein : . We are both very easy-going. It doesn't matter how old you are as long as you share the same hobby with us.
We also love to join some kinds of hiking groups.(Is there any good one out there??)

I hike in the superstitions almost every weekend. I also (try to) do backpacking trips every couple months or so. If your interested in going drop me a PM.

Eventually Kurt (HikeAZ) would have gotten around to telling you about his hiking club (Friends Hiking Club) there's a link to thier hikes on the HAZ homepage. I've hiked with them once before and the trip was really great, I just don't usually go in for large group outings.

Welcome to HAZ and happy hiking.

In response to Explorer's reply:

Hi Explorer,

Welcome to HAZ! This is a great place to hook up with people who enjoy all types of hiking/backpacking and at all levels. I live out near the Superstitions and have done a few of the trails out there and if y'all ever want to get out there, then let me know. The season for the Superstitions is pretty close now.

There's always many little groups of people who are planning hikes in addition to the Forum here on HAZ.

Thanks, all.

We haven't been to Superstitious Mt. yet.
We are sure to go when it get cooler!! Since we live in Northern Phoenix, we have been to Lookout mountain, Squaw Peak, North mountain preserve, and Cholla trail..... all were great!
We have camped only once so far, at Lake Pleasant.

Since my husband works on Saturdays, we hike on Sunday.
(oh, by the way, I am wife who's been posting those messages : queen : )

I will try to come this site more often
