@azbackpackr
Probably the 3.5s. A lot of people with narrower feet (like yours it sounds like) really weren't happy with that one because it got a little wider. Of course, for me, it was fantastic
They've done tweaks since then, too, that a lot of thru-hiker types don't like.
They also really changed the upper material either with that one or the 4s and it honestly just kind of sucks from a quality perspective. It's sort of kind of better for actual trail running as it IS more breathable but the durability took a nose dive. I had a pair I only got 250 miles out of before the tread was like slicks on a race car and my toes were poking out. Granted, I only use those shoes for hiking and backpacking, so it's a bit more harsh in AZ than other places, but yeh.
Unfortunately, when you have stupid feet you have to pay the stupid feet tax to be comfortable and that's just the way it is I guess.

@xsproutx
The stupid feet tax! I couldn't have said it better. Ladies size 11 Triple A. With very straight toes, necessitating a square toe box. Most shoes are too pointy for me. They are too wide, but then they come to a sort of rounded point. Doesn't work for me. Altras have the narrow heel that holds my foot in place, and plenty of room for my toes.

I think we should just all start posting pictures of our feet.

@Pivo You already subscribe to my OF. No need to double it up here.

I wore Vasque boots for a while, but the ones I liked went away, and then so did most of the others. The same is happening with so many others.
