Filming Subject for Arizona PBS Segment

Post by rebekahhikes »

Hi everyone!

My name is Rebekah and I'm a producer for Arizona PBS. I work on a show called Trail Mix'd. We hike all over Arizona exploring the stories and science of the state.

For our upcoming season, we'd like to cover the Arizona Trail. Much as we wish we could, we can't hike the entire 800 miles, but our hope would be to follow one hiker and hike with them SOBO through the first passage, a middle passage and the final passage of their hike. If you are planning to hike the trail this fall and would be interested in sharing your story and experience of the trail, or if you know someone who you think would be good, please message me here and I'll send you my info and we can chat more!

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. If you'd like to check out previous episodes of the show I can send you a link, but I am not linking here as I don't want to be labeled as spam.

Thank you!

Rebekah,
You might want to post in the Arizona Trail Class of 2025 Facebook page, and watch for a similar page for 2026. These get pretty active as the thru-hike season approaches.
