Just picked up my new pack (my first pack, too!) the Gregory Baltoro 70! I can't wait to get it out there and use it!
I've already read all the reviews and stuff, but has anyone here on HAZ had any experience with it? Maybe things to look out for?
Just got my new pack!

Re: Just got my new pack!
I had to replace my Alice Pack that a coworker spilled diesel fuel on this past year, I had been using that pack since 1973. I still used the frame but I replaced it with one made by Tactical Tailor that I received as a gift. Still enjoy the Alice pack but have upgraded shoulder straps and kidney pad. I also use a thermarest seat pad that fits in the frame to pad my back. Very comfy pack and comes in earth tone colors.

Re: Just got my new pack!
Kudos to Gregory (Mountain Products) for honoring their Lifetime Warranty.
A suspension piece on my 2019 Baltoro 65 broke. (I don't know when it broke. I started looking for problems last Friday after noticing the hip belt feeling uncomfortable.)
The piece didn't look replaceable. So I was fretting that they would tell me to send my backpack to their Repair Facility out east, with a month or two turn around.
Emailed Gregory Friday. They immediately offered to send me their current model year Baltoro as a replacement. (They asked for photos of the front and back of the pack. I'm guessing to gauge if it had been abused. (Mine still looks brand new.))
Received the replacement today. 6 days. (Albeit in blue. They're out of red (for Warranty Fulfillment) until March.))
Maybe 500 miles on mine that broke, with an average 30 lb load.

Be careful. It's not quite "a jungle out there." But history shows that it can be dangerous out there.
