Water Allotments
Saw a news blurb that the town of Kearny Az is slated to run out of water for it's residents in July. They are under water restrictions now. It seems a combination of overall drought and water agreements made in the past are the cause. They have approached the mine to share some of it's water but according to the agreement even if the mine agrees other entities could protest that. They are trying to upgrade some old wells but state that will not provide enough water.

@RedRoxx44 Water rights are so bizarre to me. This is a town that is literally situated on the banks of a flowing river.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

@chumley
Seems the aquifer would be full because of the river.
