I hurt

Well on what was to be the beginning of some serious training for a backpacking trip I haven't figure out yet, I fell down went boom. I was luggin about 25-30 lb up all the hedgepath trails over at Thunderbird park. I was on my last major down hill when I tripped and fell shins first into a pile of rocks. Fortunately they were pretty smooth so no serious abrasions but both knees and my left shin are swelling like nothing I've ever seen. I knew once I got home and had stopped moving it was going to swell. So now I sit here, keyboard on my lap, legs up on my desk like I'm expecting some sort of uncomfortable exam, and wishing I had take a rest and not gotten so tired and clumsy.

Oh well, I'll be healed up for next weekend.

I also hurt....

I was ALSO in T-bird park ( off trail ) coming down a pretty steep hill... dropped down onto a large boulder, it shifted, i lost my balance and fell, and fell again.... Pretty good tumble.... I got up, made sure everything was still attached, no major blood leakage, and hiked back to my car.

This was tuesday, today is saturday and it still hurts to shift my car into 5th gear.

Ouch!
