Hike by Phoenix week of Oct 13th.

I will be in Phoenix (Arizona biltmore area) and would like to take a few women on a close in hike that would take about 4 - 5 hrs. We will be wearing running shoes and would like some elevation and scenic views. I was thinking of Cave Creek/Skunk Tank Loop. What are peoples opinions?
