I want to start hiking

hey everyone,
I live near the estrella mountains, and the white tanks. I've never hiked at either. I've done a lot of hiking back when I lived in new mexico and I miss hiking. it's not as fun hiking alone though so I found this site and figured I'd post a message. I work nights at the hockey arena now, I start school on the 20th, (mon-thurs) my schedule is gonna be hectic a little but evening hikes are always nice I think. if anybody want's to hike with me that would be really cool.

a little about me, i'm 20, turning 21. I am a computer nerd, I have big goals and dreams, I have morals, I am a fun person to be around. I try to be decent and I try not to curse much (my friend and my brother are really bad influences on me when it comes to the cursing thing.)

I am a nice guy who likes everyone. If you want to know anything else feel free to ask :-).

well to update ya on things,
school is going fine, and it's really not as bad as I thought lol. I go to school everyday mon-fri for only 2 hours... and work... now that I'm used to the way things are it's all good. soooo if anybody wants to go hiking sometime I'm still interested. day hikes are cool with me on weekends. or after school (after 1pm).

Hi Greg,

The best thing to do is either look for a scheduled group hike, or start one of your own for a week or two in advance. You should find a couple of people who want to join you.

sounds like a good idea, ok people I gotta work this weekend. but i'm off on sunday! w00t! if anybody wants to go hiking this sunday pm me, I have no idea where to go... I think having at least 2 other people would be ideal. pm me aight?
