Hi All,
Found this site looking on google for info on 4 Peaks Amythist Mine. I saw photos on the 4 Peaks hike. One photo showed hikers going up to the mine office. Does anyone know the exact name of the mine?
Also, was the office open to the public to go into? I would like to inquire about buying some rough stones. Perhaps I could drive up there or call. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I do appreicate your kindness.
I also, may want to hike sometime in the future. I have been off my exercise routine and am getting back on track. I imagine this hike is not for beginners, or can a short hike be done?
Thank you all so very much!
KL

Look at PFredricks trip report from the 4 Peaks Mother Lode Hike. The Phone Number to call the Mine for access is listed there.
