Well, my wife and I made Dec. 10, 2005 reservations for Phantom Ranch back in July 2004 and now she says she doesn't feel like she can make it. So I have a reservation for for two - one male dorm and one female dorm - for Saturday, Dec. 10 at Phantom Ranch.
I don't want to hike it alone.
If I go, there are two choices: (1) try to find a buddy or group of people who are already going down on Saturday and/or up on Sunday and tag along with them. Or (2) try to find a platonic female hiking buddy who is an intermediate hiker who wants to hike down with me and take the female dorm room. One dorm night, one Sat. night steak dinner, one Sunday morning breakfast, and one Sunday packed lunch is $87. If Plan (2), we should meet for coffee or something with my wife in advance.
Anyone going on that date or want to go?
