New to the area

Hello Phoenix-
I am new to Phoenix (and Arizona for that matter!) and am looking for a Hiking Group or Club to join.
I have found a few that sound interesting but I would really appreciate some advice from anyone who has more Group/Club experience. (That would be ANY group/club experience )

azhikers club has some great monthy trips organized. I just showed up by myself and everyone was so nice. I had a great time and we've got a hike/camping planned for Feb. 11th. PM me if you want details. I would be happy to bring you with. :A1:
I am an AZ native...been around the state a lot!
