I think worse beyond just the trash is when I come across cigarette butts on the trail....I ask you WHY??? Why on God's green earth do these bozos bring their stinkin', puking, teeth staining habits out to the beautiful wilderness?? :yuk: Leave that crap back where it belongs...ahh but I digress...
Naw....actually I leave garbage everywhere, then pick it up so it looks like I'm being a good samaritan........I have even taken garbage with me hidden in my pack, so I could take it out and carry carry the sack to show everybody, purely paper ya know, don't want to carry too much extra weight...
All Who Wander Are Not Lost, and I do walk to the beat of a different drummer.....'cause I lost my drum
i like to smoke when i hike, but i always bring a trash bag, whether you smoke or not you shouldn't litter in the mountains, the only difference with cigarettes is they can start a fire, the simple solution is put it out
Yeah, cigarette butts, diapers, beer cans, ect ect, disgust me too, but not nearly as horrifying as watching hundreds of acres of Arizona being dozed every day by developers. It's just a matter of time untill these supposedly protected lands will be, one by one, sold off to developers. 25 years ago i being bummed that someone spray painted a red rock wall in wet beaver creek. i never imagined the WBC would be as crowded as metrocenter and the people would be wheelbarrowing kegs of beer 4 miles to the crack at bell crossing. The word is out on AZ, expect the wilderness trash to only get much worse.
