Anyone done this hike that could let me know the # days that it took you?
Also, any "words of wisdom ?

On another thread "Hiking partner wanted", they are looking at playing in Hellsgate...maybe they have some info??

My ex and his brother did this and I believe it took them 4 days. I know that they stopped along the way and fished so I'm not sure how much time that accounted for. I'm pretty sure they didn't push it though. If I remember correctly. He always did seem to get side-tracked along the way. :roll:

Before you get too set on the hike - better go and check with the forest service. With all the closures, you may not have to worry about doing thi hike anyway.

It's closed alright. It wouldn't be that good of a hike right now anyway. early spring is the best time to go. I went 2 years ago in March. It was perfect. It took me 3 days. Could've done it in 2 but why rush?
