I sincerely need your help.
What is the best hike for a fit "non-hiker" in the Sedona area?
I can find great hikes for me in Sedona, but I'm looking to hike with my wife - a fit person but with back problems. I guess I'm looking for C or D hikes (Sierra Club scale).
(And don't tell me from the room to the hot tub!!)

Boynton Canyon is a nice hike. Very scenic, little elevation change, and not difficult. Lots of red rocks, and it ends in a box canyon.

I totally agree with Preston Sands and think Boynton Canyon is an excellent choice. It's a beauty!
Two others to consider would be West Fork and also Broken Arrow. West Fork is relatively flat and you can hike as far back as you want. Broken Arrow has a nice little side trip down to Submarine Rock. I guess you know you'll see lots of people on all these trails.
