If anyone is interested, a few friends and I are hiking Pass Mountain (7.1 miles) on NYD, with a bring-your-own BBQ afterwards. I will provide the charcoal.
We're gathering @ the Wind Cave T/H at about 9:30. (Not too early....we need recovery time in the AM; right?)

Meet at Horse Staging Area instead???
I hike or mountain bike at Usery 2-5 times a week and it has gained quite a bit of use this year. To the point they made the Wind Cave road one-way with parking only on one side.
So... due to the high amount of hikers on the Wind Cave trail and the shortage of parking there, I'd recommend meeting at the Horse Staging Area where the official Pass Mountain trailhead is.
Curious... which direction around Pass Mountain? For hiking from HSA, I recommend counter-clockwise so the last 2+ miles are downhill. (At least that's the direction I go for my 2-3 Pass Mountain treks per month.)
