Ideas?

Post by terrylc825 »

I am looking for a fairly easy backpacking trip around the valley somewhere. I am new to backpacking and want something that is manageable for my first one. East to follow and not very strenuous. Any ideas?

this will give you ideas for easy hikes, many of these are backpack worthy. Just look for a place with water! A good overnight can be had by taking the Boulder Canyon trail (near Canyon Lake marina) down to the LaBarge "box". its a cool place for a round trip of about 9 miles.

What time of year? Charlebois Spring or Reavis would be nice right now.
