Woodchute Mountain Sunday June 3

Post by DarthStiller »

I'm planning on doing this hike June 3. It's 8 miles south of Jerome by the Potato Patch Campground off of Alt. Rt. 89. I want to make it an 8 mile hike round trip. Probably leave Phx at about 6am. The elevation is from 7100' to 7700', so the weather should be nice and cool. Lots of nice views of the San Fran peaks according to the hike description I read. Anyone interested?

I survived the Maxwell Hike/backpack. I'm ready for another new adventure. I'm in.

sounds cool. How did that camping trip go? it sounded really cool, wish I could have made it. I miss being able to go camping up at my family's camp back in PA. Maybe in a couple of years when my kids get a little older.

The Maxell trip went well. The rain was short and the temperature was cool. The canyon had too many campers but we all squeezed in, built a fire, ate lots of food, drank a few brews, passed out and hiked out the next day.
