Upper Soldier Camp Trail Fri, Nov. 23

This trail is in the Four Peaks wilderness just off FR143 starting at the Mud Spring TH. I'm planning on taking this down to the junction of the Cane Springs trail and then back up to the TH. My information says this should be about 7.6 miles total. The elevation is 1000' up, then 1300' down the junction, then back in reverse. Should be a good semi-strenous day hike to burn off the turkey from the day before. I'll leave my house probably around 7-7:30am.

I just found out today that I may have a change of plan for that weekend. A friend of mine just sent me a text message today saying he might be in town in 2 weeks. if he is, he insists on doing very strenuous, marathon hikes. But he's about 50/50 on showing up and showing up when he originally says. and it may or may not end up being that day. Just an FYI before anyone decides to commit. If this changes, I'll re-post and update.
