On my Tonto NF map, there is a trail north of the Cave Creek complex identified only as #8. It goes from the main forest road to a ranch, and then past the ranch to a jeep trail.
Does anybody know anything about this trail? Like its' name?
(BTW - I struck out with the twenty-somethings who staff the Cave Creek ranger station. The only thing they seem to know is how to sell a Tonto pass.)
Thanks,
Tony

Apparently the Sierra Club was up there a couple of years ago - you might try calling Jim Vaalertonyp wrote:On my Tonto NF map, there is a trail north of the Cave Creek complex identified only as #8. It goes from the main forest road to a ranch, and then past the ranch to a jeep trail.
