Well my summer begins the 22nd but I work that day, so I wanted to go for a hike the 23rd, since I have that day off. If anyone is free I was interested in heading out to maybe Four Peaks or the Mazaztals or Hells Hole in the Salome Wilderness.
But if I am heading out that far I wanted to share the trip.... (and the cost of gas ) with someone else.
If no one's game I'll probably end up in the Superstitions or a closer Mazatzal trail that can be accessed in my mustang, but was especially interested in Brown's Peak or Hells Hole. Just dont have a high clearance vehicle for Brown's Peak, and didnt want to pay the entire gas bill for a day trip to Hell's Hole.
If you want to hold off till the 24th I was thinking about hitting Browns Peak... but I have to work on the 23rd. There is also a slim chance I will be heading to Big Sur that weekend...
I think I can do a hike on the 23rd, but I would need to be back by 2pm to pick up the kids from school, as my wife will be out of town. So probably means 4 Peaks are out (although I'm game another Friday), but if you're up for something that morning, maybe a little closer, I could meet you @ 7am...

You guys wanna come up to the White Mtns. and hike let me know. I'm going down to Grant Creek (the one near Hannagan) today for a weekend backpack. The rest of the summer I mostly have time only for day hiking, however. I realize there's a distance/gas issue, however.
