Ringtail Trailhead

Post by fricknaley »

Hey guys. I wanted to pass on some lame news. I had my window smashed in this morning at the Ringtrail trailhead off Picture Rocks Road in Saguaro National Park West. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone from this site log trips for any of the hikes I post here on HAZ for that area, but it is a popular local trailhead nonetheless. So anyway, just a friendly heads up. :(

Man, it's spreading across the valley, I guess. I heard the same bravo sierra is happening at Saguaro West at the end of Speedway...

Is there some kind of access issue angering local neighbors to these trailheads? I'm just wondering if this is random or is someone trying to make a statement? If so, what is the statement?

PS, we should band together as hikers and take turns hiding with a sniper rifle at the trailheads...

Just kidding, of course! ;)

This trailhead is in the National Park, so access shouldn't be an issue. I'm guessing random on this one.
