I noticed that the accumulated gain noted on the Cathedral Rock/Hutches Pool Loop was listed at over 7,000'... giving over a 2,000' accumulated added down/up aspect to that hike. I really like that loop, but for the life of me cannot recall loosing and regaining that much elevation over the course of the route. What have I forgotten aboout that route?

Re: Cathedral Rock...Hutches Pool
The AEG on that route comes from looking at the trail profile from the GPS track.

Re: Cathedral Rock...Hutches Pool
Well I didn't own a GPS when I climbed Cathedral. But when I did the window I came up with 4900' AEG, Cathedral is 500' higher than that and I believe A LOT more up and down than the window. I haven't done the loop itself to add Hutches pools, but I wouldn't be surprised with 7,000' AEG.
