Grand Canyon National Park, A Chasm Beyond Compare - 10/21

Post by hikeaz »

Join Mike Buchheit, director of the Grand Canyon Field Institute, for a multi-media tribute to Grand Canyon National Park. As a longtime park resident, backpacker, river runner, photographer, and outdoor educator, Mike has forged a mile-deep relationship with the canyon, one that he has been sharing with REI patrons across the Southwest for more than a decade through tales, trivia, and one-of-a-kind photography.

Mike's lively, one-hour presentation will leave audience members with a greater understanding and appreciation for what author C.A. Higgins called the 'Titan of Chasms'.
Sponsored by the Grand Canyon Association, this interactive lecture is presented in celebration of the PBS series 'The National Parks: America's Best Idea.'
