Saw this and figured others might be interested in this bike/hike/run local challenge. The hike part of the challenge is 9 miles around Brown's Ranch. I've done 4 miles of it, and the part I did was really flat and sandy with interesting ranching ruins to see. The trails for the challenge are all within State Land Trust land that usually requires a permit (not for the challenge obviously).
