is there a way to get .img files to display in mapsource?
i would like to view routes etc. on my computer in stead of the GPS unit.
I downloaded GPSBabel but it doesn't seem to see .img files either.

Looks like Jeff is right. I have not done that but I did a google search on "Mapset Toolkit" and came up with many hits that explain the process. One such is http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/tutorials/h ... ettoolkit/
