Looking for suggestions on nearby overnighters
Edit: Alrighty, plans have changed =(. We no longer have a truck, so now I'm looking for inputs on a nice overnighter that is gonna be car accessible this weekend. Can't be too far from Phoenix as 2/3rds of the group has to be back in Phoenix by 4pm on Sunday, but something in the 10-ish mile round trip range would be ideal. Available water would also be very much preferred. Nothing too insane =) A shorter hike would definitely be ok if there's stuff to explore/dayhike near the campsite.

Crap, just found out that the truck we were going to use won't hold the whole group... looks like we may be relegated to car-accessible trails only this weekend =(
Love the Bull Basin synopsis... once we have the right vehicle, methinks we'll be going that route =)
So, anyone who's bored enough right now... have any thoughts on a good, easy-ish overnighter that isn't too terribly far from Phoenix and won't destroy a sedan? (two of the party members have to be back in town by around 4pm on Sunday.)

Little Saddle Mountain Trail, camp at the Potato Patch (marked on topos of teh area) on Saddle Mountain. Huge primitive camping area, great views. Water will be available on the hike up, not at the campsite though.

Drive to Tucson and hike out to Hutch's Pool in Sabino Canyon (go south young man!). 2 hours driving from most of Phoenix, paved the whole way, fantastic scenery, great camping spot, and an option to ride the shuttle back if you really need to save time on the last 3 miles out. Once you get past the morning rush at the pools, you'll have the place all to yourself for the evening and early morning.
