Hello!
I am new to this website but have been hiking for a couple of years now. I am starting to get into backpacking but am still trying to buy all the gear. If anyone has any comments, suggestions or welcoming words i would love to hear them.
Thanks,
Chris Polito

Re: Hello!
Hey welcome to the site. There is a discussion right this minute on another thread about buying gear, if you'd like to join in: http://www.hikearizona.com/dex2/viewtop ... 073#p51073
As for hiking naked, that's an inside joke, having to do with a popular thread on here where everyone is debating the pros and cons.

Re: Hello!
Jeff - give it a rest. This is a new member with no history of the debate on the other thread. When you post something like this from outta nowhere to a new member it starts to look like you have some homoerotic fascination with guys hiking naked. So give it a rest please. Thanks. Don't let that discussion pollute other discussions.Jeff MacE wrote:![]()

Re: Hello!
We know you were joking, but the new guy doesn't have the history of the discussion so the comment appears wierd. Just like joking about "make sure you have a leash". No framework for the comment. Nuff said. Stay frosty.Jeff MacE wrote:It was a JOKE.
