Raccoon family

While leaving my home in Gold Canyon to go on a night hike, I encountered an adult raccoon and five little ones raiding a large dumpster behind a local restaurant. Driving by I noted the eye shine and investigating noted the raccoons.

Raccoons are cool. Once when I was a kid and was camping with my parents, a raccoon family came through our camp. The momma raccoon stood there and growled at us until the babies went past, then followed them into the brush. It was great.
