Gates of the Arctic NP

Ive began my planning for a trip I will take next summer and was wondering if any Hike AZ'ers have been in the region before.

I will be traveling to Bettles, AK for a trip up into the Gates of the Artic. Info is a bit sparse for the region, now I know there aren't any trails within the park, instead Im looking for info on must see ares within the park. Preferably in the central or western region, as the end of the trip will consist of a float down the Noatak River to the Chukchi sea and I will need to be able to hike/float to that river
