15th Annual Tour of the White Mountains will be Sat. Oct 2nd this year. As usual, there are several distances to choose from--I think this year they are 10, 15, 35 and 60 miles. I am signed up to ride sweep for the 35 mile one. I have not been riding much lately, need to step it up! The event is supposed to be a fundraiser for the hospital in Show Low, but ever since a private MTB racing company took it over they give only a small percentage to the hospital. Oh, well, it is still a pretty fun event, (except when the weather is bad.)

Once all this onerous rain stops I will ride lots of trail. Meantime, I am sticking to roads.
