I'm guessing said tunnels don't exist. There are lots of alcoves and some caves though, to my understanding.

Joe, Maybe you can use the tunnels to keep out of the sun, and get a shorter route from Tule to Peralta!

If the earth was hollow, that would mean that plate tectonics is not true. If that is the case, the Supes wouldn't exist - they're igneous in origin.

Seismic images of the interior of the earth exist, yes. It is not solid rock though - most is molten (liquid) rock.
