Saturday hike?

Anyone doing a pretty moderate hike this Saturday? I missed the last one and would love to get out this Saturday. Anyone up for it? Don't have any specific trail in mind yet. Let me know....

Kristyn, if all goes as planned (ha... ha!!) I should be out camping in the Haunted Canyon area this w/e. There are several trails in the area, and we'll be hiking in and out the whole time. You're more than welcome to come out and hike, eat s'mores, and bring your daughter!!

Kristyn--

Just read the write up on Haunted Canyon. I could use a little playtime Saturday. Sounds like an amazing hike. Are you planning on this hike? Jaime is alot of fun to hike with. If you are up for it, I'd go with you. I can't camp out there with Jaime so if you were planning that, we could meet. If you are not going to camp we could possibly car pool?

ps. Jaime--you were right, belly dancing was amazing! I'm gonna marry a belly dancer

Well, Saturday is starting to sound like a lot of fun. Is everyone gonna stay for s'mores too??!! I'll bring extra. As far as belly dancing is concerned, Mike you can show us everything you learned!! And, thank you for the compliments... I really enjoyed myself Saturday, and I'm glad to hear the kind words from everyone too.

It is still up in the air as to whether or not I'm going out Friday or Saturday morning. I want to go Friday afternoon, but I can't find anyone else who wants to go then. Everyone only wants to go Saturday thru Sunday.... SSOOOOO I will let you know by Thursday whether I will already be there, or meeting everyone there that morning.

Cool beans, Kristyn!! I'll catch up w/you Thursday through PM to work out when and where. I don't know if you remember, but I have a blazer. I think I might take my dog--if you have one and want to bring him/her, there's plenty of room. It does sound like a cool hike!!

Jaime--When you know where ya'all are camping, give us a heads-up and we'll find you guys. Or meet up as the case may be...

Well, Mike I know WHERE we're camping, just not sure WHEN!! If it turns out that I go Saturday morning, then we can meet somewhere out here and caravan out there. I will definately let you guys know as soon as I know for sure!! Looking forward to it!!

Good morning!! I'll pm the both of you. Jaimi, I think you are still looking into when you are camping. If it isn't until Saturday, you can car pool with us, I have room for gear. I assume someone else is camping so you can get a ride back?!?!?

I've read the hike, sounds like a pretty good day hike. Looks like 6-7 hours rt from Tony's cabin. Do we want to get started early enough to catch sunrise? Either way works for me. I just can't camp out because of school work

I definitely want to get a good early start. It would be awesome to catch the sunrise! I can't camp out due to prior engagments Saturday evening, so I will take what I can get.

I'm planning to do the Boulder Canyon hike from Canyon Lake tomorrow morn (Sat 9/5) if anyone is interested. I'm going out for a bit, so leave me a note.

Yeah, maybe next time. Wish I could have tagged along with you all. Sounds like a must-do hike in that area. Just didn't have all day free for it. Hope you all had fun.

Although, that Boulder Canyon hike sure did prove to be a fun one! I threw a few pics of it on here.

MIke, Kristyn... Thank you guys so much for coming out and hiking w/ me yesterday. I had so much fun. My friends did show up and we camped that night. It was great. After telling them about the hike, they regretted not coming out for it. Don even wants to go back out in three weeks. Anyway, just wanted to say Thank you and let you both know that we made it home!! Have a great week.

And Tom, thank you for the invite... would like to do that hike sometime.

Hope everyone had fun and had a good w/e... I know I did!!

Thanx for the fun hike!! I told Katie about it and I think we are going to camp at the cabin maybe first weekend of November. Then we'll take a look at the Ridgeline in western Superstitions. I'll send a reminder when the time gets closer in case either of you are interested.

Kristyn, hope you and the family have a safe and great vacation w/your parents!!

Jaimi, those boys are gonna be some good hikers!!!

Cleaned my hiking boots yesterday and an ear ring came out--silver in a circle and like a rope. Did one of you loose it? I garuantee it ain't mine..... :roll:
