What's new on the docket for 2011?
I don't know that I did much better in 2010. I think I just hiked more miles to make up for the lack of speed.I want to see more which means that once in awhile I've got to hike faster (less pictures).
Yep, this I did several times including my longest to Ribbon Falls and back (nearly 16 miles for me - granted it was all level but...) and then the 11 miler Bluff Springs Loop incl Terrapin and the 12 miler Highline-Loop Trail in GNP.longer (more miles in a day)
definitely got the higher in with a few peaks (Wrightson, Lemmon, Humphreys, Ajo, Quartz) and 1 for 2 with the Grand Canyon so maybe the Ridgeline for 2011. Already have Picacho Peak lined up for next weekend and I see a Tom's Thumb in my future and with any luck another foray into the Canyon.higher (both ways - like maybe the Ridgeline and/or the Grand Canyon)
and I am. Now for 2011 it will be working on combatting the cold when sitting around.I really want to get more comfortable with this backpacking thing
