Need hiking partners.
I'm an east valley hiker who mostly sticks to the Superstitions, but also enjoys road trips to find hiking adventures. I usually go solo and I like to hike on weekdays to avoid the crowds - anyone free for weekday hikes? I'm also interested in backpacking trips and rock climbing. I love mountains, canyons, and anywhere there's animals, water, ruins, rock art, or good views!

Hiking the Superstitions during the week may have other advantages, the past two wednesdays I hiked from First Water. When paying for my permit, I submitted a five dollar bill received my permit (normally four dollars) and four one dollar coins in change. The hikes Garden Valley Loop and Hackberry Springs.

Welcome to HAZ!!!!
Weekday hikes are a big NO for me - simply waaaaaayyyyyyy too busy during the week. But weekend hikes work for me - crowd's notwithstanding. Not to mention the fact that if you pick the right spots - you just don't see crowds...

I'm free most Mondays. I usually keep the hikes to around 4 hours and start as early as possible. The Supes are the usual venue for me too. Although I wouldn't mind trekking someplace further out and extending hike time once in a while.
I usually save the longer hikes for Saturdays and/or Sundays.
If this appeals to you, let me know.
