I am taking a white water kayak class at the NAU indoor pool. Lots of upside-down-getting-water-up-your-nose and twisting and hip-snapping and wet-exiting and t-rescuing. This evening they finally gave us a paddle!
I am wiped out!
It's fun though!
If you want to take the class, you sign up via NAU Outdoor Recreation. They offer it every semester, along with a lot of other fun classes. I am signed up for several other ones, too. ( dead link removed )
