Tempe REI — Hike for the Homeless

* Event Location: Estrella Mountain Regional Park
* Event Fee: See event details

* Time: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (MST)
* Leader: St. Joseph's the Worker

Description: Want to help homeless individuals gain employment and have some outdoor fun at the same time? Sign up your team (or yourself) today for St. Joseph the Worker's 13th Annual Hike for the Homeless. The Hike will take place at Estrella Mountain Regional Park on Saturday, March 5, 2010. Registration is $25 ($15 student rate) by February 25 and includes trail options for all levels, a T-shirt and breakfast burrito. After February 25, registration cost is $30 ($20 student rate). Sign up online at http://www.hikeforthehomeless.org or call (602) 417-9854. With your help, St. Joseph the Worker is Working to End Homelessness.

Already booked for the weekend, but would have absolutely done it otherwise. (I also do the bikeathon for homeless kids that is coming up in April: http://www.rideforthechildren.com/ .)
