Jetman Over the Grand Canyon
Looks like Yves Rossy did it after all... Wonder if there were any hikers in that part of the canyon; it would have been really cool to see him fly by!

Now if they can just make jet packs small enough to fit in my pack...

I can't imagine how cool that would be. I've always wanted to try hang gliding, except for this awkward death fear I have.

Between the jet pack, robot, Penny (and Judy...), we never stood a chance... The Chariot I'll blame for my car-customizing fetish (but we'll save that for another group/thread...)Alston Neal wrote:Lost in Space did for me, that and Penny Robinson

@Alston Neal
I'm not sure how to take that... If we ever get that gun-rental business off the ground, you may need to use caution while we're field-testing new products... ;)

Not when you have a parachute. (And a reserve ...)

@kingsnake
My dad was a pilot in WWII and he said he'd never jump out of a perfectly good plane.
In this case I'd never jump off of a perfectly good cliff......

Re: Jetman Over the Grand Canyon
I think it would be more fun to jump from a plane, or better yet helicopter, into the canyon than off a cliff. I never understood BASE jumping. Seems too much of a risk. (Gust of wind, you're hosed ...)

Re: Jetman Over the Grand Canyon
If you've got the wingsuit, why do you need the jetpack and the helicopter?
