Treat Bright Angel Creek Water

Post by KwaiChang »

Quick question - do I need to treat water from Bright Angel creek???

Is it dependent on where I pull my water from location wise for treating??

Not planning on it BUT - if I gotta I wanna be on the safe side.

Thanks!!!

PS - Any Haz members going to be hiking anywhere in the Canyon on the 14th thru the 18th?

I would treat water if I was getting it from BA creek. However, I remember there being potable water sources throughout the BA campground.

BA will be very turbid/silty, plan to have to field clean your filter.
