Nice hike on Mt Grahm this weekend??
Hello all,
Will be camping on Mt. Grahm (se arizona) this weekend, wondering what a nice hike would be for this season? I have always wanted to get up there and this will be the first (well, once in the dead of winter, just a bunch of snow then
) when I can actully explore a bit. Any recommendations for a loop hike thats not to terribly difficult? Out n back is fine as well. Are there any running streams up there with some good greenery around?? I have heard wild berries grow that are good but not sure what season this is. Thanks all for any help, kinda short notice but this seems to be a fairly active community

My recommendation would be Grant Hill Loopdomer88 wrote:Any recommendations for a loop hike thats not to terribly difficult

Mt. Graham rainfall this year is well below average and most of the creeks are very low. Best bet for a good running stream would be the Ash Creek trail down to the falls. More challenging hike then Grant Hill, but very green right now!

PM me if you have any questions, I'm very familiar with the Pinalenos.

+1 on Ash Creek. Check out the waterfall, and if you want to camp away from the established campgrounds, there is a bit of nice camping near the Old Mill site.
