Hey, that's my favorite joke! Any of you who have hiked with me have heard me tell it! (And tell it again, if you have hiked with me twice!) :D

That's why it's a "classic" warning sign... it's been around since at least the 70s!

Is it recommended you engraven your name on the bells so they can recognize your remains?

Ya, well you won't find any of me in feces. They decide to consume me, I plan on giving them severe indigestion! :)

Honestly though, if I had a choice in the disposal of my remains, I would have my body dumped somewhere the critters could get a meal or two off me. Rather feed a flying buzzard than the jackals in the death industry ... ;)

There's actually even a little more humor to this for me too. I carry Pepper Spray for my job, but it's not for the animals, it's for the people! :scared:

Retail IS hell, especially for the average Arizona retail employee who generally makes less than $8 an hour and has to support a family.

Just sayin'... I hate retail... Hate it hate it hate it. I think it's absolutely hilarious that all these do-gooder upscale holier than thou yuppie types scream and holler about boycotting Walmart but still shop at Safeway, Bashas', Target, Circle K, and any of a slew of corporate retailers and grocers, all of whom treat employees exactly the same way Walmart does.

Retail IS hell

Yes it is. Customer service jobs in general, suck! I do customer service in a way....But I also get to write Dumb Dog Owners tickets! :D

Thus the need for Pepper Spray...It tends to piss them off! :)

I admire your guts! Having to confront Stupid People about their dogs would be difficult. The dogs don't know any better, since Stupid People don't and won't train them. Stupid People think dog rules are for other people's dogs. Stupid People are everywhere on trails with their dogs. We almost got attacked in the Gila Wilderness, of all places. There is a certain brand of Stupid People who also like the wilderness, and they always have the same danged comment, "We didn't think anyone else would be hiking here." (Ask Wendy about that one, she was at the front of the line...)

I admire you for taking on the Stupid People who own dogs...

Oh the stories I could tell, why do you think the coyotes up on South Mountain are so well fed? ](*,)

Dogs aren't stupid, they just emulate their owners because it's all they get the opportunity to know....
Dogs learn from their environment. If they are not taught "manners" just like kids are taught (some of them anyway), then simply living in an environment full of stupidity and ignorance is going to cause a dog to act in a socially unacceptable way...

That sign is a classic too. I would love to be a sign maker. The fun I could have.....

I need to get a picture of a sign in my neighborhood. There's a bridge out on a county road, about a mile and a half after the last possible turnoff. There are signs all over the place for the detour, dozens of them. Yet enough people have ignored them that somebody made a handwritten sign that described the closure and explained the route of the detour. They posted it on the stop sign by the last turnoff. I think somebody got tired of strangers turning around in their driveway.
