Silly Mtn. Park

Post by Nighthiker »

Silly Mtn. Park in Apache Junction is closed at dark. If you are out there after dark you will likely be cited by the park ranger.

And you know this from personal experience?????
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming, "Wow What a Ride!"

Heck no and he didn't incinerate like a vampire in the morning sun either. Nice man. He lives out in my neck of the woods and was part of a EMT response team when my Mom needed transport to a local hospital. Thanks JK :thanx: You and the team were appreciated.

I just returned from a morning hike to the peak and around the mountain and was upset to find that someone had shot some of the signs with a paint ball gun :o . I guess they don't patrol the area quite good enough to catch those guys. But it's a good reason why there are park hours, now to catch the bums :gun:
