Great Superstition Book!
I just finished reading T.E.Glover's "The Lost Dutchman Mine of Jacob Waltz Part One: The Golden Dream" - by far the most informative and enjoyable book I've seen on the subject. Has anyone else read this amazing book? It's even conveniently cross-referenced with the Hiker's Guide to the Superstition Wilderness, and I want to take advantage of that fact - anyone want to join in some hikes to try and find certain caves, ruins, and "clues" from the books? Just wanted to recomend this as a must read for anyone interested in the Supes!

We did it!! We survived the Ridgeline!! It was awesome, Kelly... wish you would've joined us. We had so much fun. It was long, and strenuous at times, but oh so worth it!! I was just sorry that the group had to wait for me at the end as my knee decided to quit on me coming down Siphon Draw (slowpokey!!)... but I did it!! Woohoo!! And Kristyn, Matt, and I celebrated over pizza... whatta great day!! Thanks everyone.

Hello ;]
If you dont mind a newbie tagging along, that area is right in my neighborhood... I have already done peralta trail and most of the crosscut trail along with several others. I will be available as a companion alot in that area ;]
BTW, I found the "Hikers Guide to the Superstition Wilderness" so informative from the library I immediately bought it from REI when I saw it. The trail listings alone were worth it, much less the history of the 'gold mine'

Just an update. Glover's book - along with part two "The Holmes Manuscript", and several other good books on the subject are on sale at the office at Lost Dutchman State Park. The Ranger also showed me an advance copy of Helen Corbin's new book on the subject which she calls "The Bible" - it does appear to be very interesting, with many photos I haven't seen in any other book. Not sure when that one goes on sale.
