No sense starting a new thread, so reviving this ancient one ...
Anyway, found an LG-brand Verizon phone on the Cave Creek to Spur Cross Trail #4 this pas weekend. Flips open to a qwerty keyboard. Out of power, and takes a smaller USB connector.
2011-06-04: I was able to track down the owner and return the phone.

From a neighbor in Aravaipa: 
"Last week I found a cell phone on our property - it was at the bottom of the hill right next the to road. Looks like it had been there for awhile. It is an older AT&T flip phone. I brought it back to Tucson to try to charge it, but I don't have the correct charger. Not even sure it will charge. Let me know if you lost a phone."
