International Space Station Time-Lapse Photography

Check out this stunning compilation of time-lapse sequences shot from the International Space Station. The aurora borealis looks crazy, as do the sequences that have lightning strikes.

The ISS time lapse videos are really cool. Here's one that's a little bit closer to home, so to speak.

The orbit takes the ISS from near Alaska, with Vancouver first appearing on the left, heading down through California, Arizona, Mexico, and the west coast of South America before the sun rises over Antarctica.

At about the :15 mark, there are three large cities in a line: Las Vegas on the bottom, Phoenix in the center, and Tucson at the top. If you zoom in, you can see my headlights. They're the ones next to the haz sticker.
