Point Trail West Clear Creek (6-29-12 --- 7-1-12)
Planning to drive to the trailhead Friday evening for a quick camp. Drop down the trail Saturday morning and see if I can hike upstream to where I camped when I hiked down from the Maxwell Trail. There are lots of good elevated campsites along the creek. Looks like a hammock night. Expect to catch some trout and definately some crawdads for supper. Probably hike up to see the petroglyphs too. There are no swims on this hike, at least no mandatory ones...

No swimming?
Do you know if WCC is fly fish only?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming, "Wow What a Ride!"

No, it's open to baits and lures. I have caught fish on dry flies and nymphs before.
